It runs well right out of the box on Steam Deck as well, and lately, it’s been my go-to game for a break. It is a challenging and unexpected single-player adventure. The third-person shooter/skateboarder hybrid features a charming, stylish look, fine controls, excellent music, and a compelling gameplay loop. On the other hand, Rollerdrome came as a huge surprise. OlliOlli World on Steam Deck and Switch had previously made an impression on me, so I wasn’t as surprised by Roll7’s success this time around. One of the video games that gave me the idea for this segment was Rollerdrome. With a few exceptions for games that were previously on consoles but were only recently converted to PC, this feature will only include games that have been released this year. I put prepared a list of the top new games to play on Steam Deck after playing a lot of recently published games there both before and after release. Many people probably want to see how newer games perform on Valve’s portable, even though I’ve already covered the greatest Steam Deck titles and even the best Steam Deck games that aren’t compatible with consoles. Since nearly every game I’ve played on Steam Deck functions as it should, testing both new and old titles has been a great experience.
